UK Customers

Gray-Nicolls gives you FREE shipping on UK mainland orders over £10.

Shipping to Channel Islands or other Crown dependencies are chargeable. 

The countdown on the product pages tells you when the next dispatch day will be. We usually dispatch via tracked UPS or DPD and typically your order will be delivered 2 working days after the dispatch day. Please note that some products such as those requiring customisation will require more preparation time and deliveries to the Highlands and any island will take a little longer.


Returns


We offer free returns via our self-service tool on all UK orders which can be activated up to 30 days from receipt of your order, this service is also available for potential fault claims – please see our detailed returns guide below.

  • We offer a free returns service on all UK orders through the returns tool below "Start a Return Now". The service is available up to 30 days from receipt of your order, and once the return is opened or approved, you have 14 working days to complete the process (delivered to us - we suggest allowing at least 3 working days for shipping).
  • You can select our free returns service (pre-paid UPS label to be printed at your convenience) or you can choose to pay for your own preferred shipping method separately.
  • If selecting the free UPS label, there is a link below to help you find your nearest Access Point to drop off the parcel. Make sure you have attached the label securely to the package.
  • If you select your own returns method/courier, we recommend using an insured and tracked/signed for service in case proof of delivery is required to complete a return or where you need to make a claim for lost parcels/damaged goods with your courier.
  • The items should be securely/safely packaged - goods damaged during return due to inappropriate/insufficient packaging could lead to declined returns/rejected refund requests.
  • The goods must be returned unused with packaging and tags attached and in "as received" condition to qualify for a refund (for change of mind unused items returns).
  • Personalised/initialled items are only returnable if faulty or due to embellishment errors.
  • This service is also available for potential fault claims, this is not limited to 30 days and you will need to use the "raise an appeal" option that is visible once you have entered your order number and email into the self-service returns tool, appeals are usually progressed within 24-48 hours. You can add notes and images as part of the process.
  • Please note we do not currently offer an exchange/replacement option.
  • Claims/returns are resolved by refund, issued following receipt, assessment and verification of the return/claim by our returns team.
  • Refunds can only be returned to the original source of payment. Gift Cards are always refunded ahead of other payment methods.
  • If you have purchased goods through a third-party retailer that you  wish to return,  then you would need to contact them for information and support regarding their claims/returns processes.

EU Customers

Deliveries

Gray-Nicolls offers FREE shipping on every order over £200 to an EU country.

For orders between £150 and £200, we charge a fixed rate of £10.00

For orders under £150, we charge a fixed rate of £35.00 for shipping.

Bulky items sent in to Europe, particularly to the Republic of Ireland, may incur shipping rates in excess of £100 per item. This is due to a combination of Brexit and Covid-19, where our logistics partners’ ability to get goods to customers has been drastically affected.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we will keep this page updated with any further developments.

Typically your products will arrive three to five working days after despatch, but due to Covid and Brexit, some orders have taken up to 10 days. Customers in further countries from the UK should allow longer.

Orders from outside the UK or EU may be subject to local import charges/taxes that are outside our control. Typically you will need to pay them to the carrier.  If you do not pay the carrier the goods will be returned to us. We will then refund you after deducting the cost of carriage incurred by us and any extra charges levied by the carrier.

Returns

We refund customers from EU countries up to the original value of their order. Simply go to our self-service returns centre to start a return. We will refund up to the original value of the order excluding shipping costs.

Return shipping costs and order delivery charges are only refunded in the event of a faulty item or incorrectly dispatched item.

All orders being returned by customers within the EU must be done so by a courier of their choice and are to be paid for by the customer.

Deliveries
Shipping times will depend on local couriers and customs. Any customs/duties/taxes charges are the customers responsibility and will need to be paid by the customer. Please note that some products such as those requiring customisation will require more preparation time - this is usually illustrated on the product page if it applies.


Returns
Customers from Rest of World must pay the cost of any returns shipping.
